Miss Leisure 2008 will be held for the first time in Suzhou , China – known as the Oriental Venice from 15th to the 30th June 2008. This is a spin-off and sister pageant of Miss Tourism Queen International 2008. Over 75 countries will be invited to Suzhou, China this summer to experience the beautiful gardens and silk city of Suzhou which mover 2,500 years old has a rich silk culture and often referred to the Arts City of China. During these two weeks, the contestants will visit beautiful tourist sites and silk factories and taste the delicious Chinese cuisines which Suzhou has to offer. The World finals will be televised to 1.3 billion people.

Miss Leisure 2008 is open to all countries and these are the requirements that we are looking for in a Miss Leisure winner:

• She has to be between 18 to 26 years and single and never married;
• An ideal height would be between 1.70 m to 1.80m and no taller;
• She should have a good female model physique in bikini;
• She should have a photogenic face for modelling assignments;
• She should have a wonderful personality, a cool character and be enthusiastic in whatever she does;
• She should have the desire to be famous, be a good role model and leader;
• She should be able to communicate and understand English;
• She should have at least some modelling experience either on the runway or as a photographic model;
• She should ideally fit into a European size 8 dress;
• She should not have a criminal record, married or had her marriage annulled;
• She should be independent and can take instructions well;
• She should enjoy traveling and seeing the World.

Winner for Miss Leisure will win for herself a cash prize of US$10,000.00 There will be top 5 winners and many special awards.
